NASD139 Flathead Basket Weaving

Flathead Basket Weaving will instruct students in the art of weaving a Sally Bag and a Corn Husk Bag. Students will learn weaving techniques needed to produce the traditional bags used in root gathering. Students will also gain a larger cultural awareness of the importance of basketry techniques and concepts in indigenous cultures.
