FTVP171 New Directions in Indigenous Films

In this course, students will explore the historic portrayal of Native people in the media as well as new and emerging methods and voices. Students will experiment with both traditional and digital film formats to create authentic indigenous footage that both honors the traditions and engages the native communities themselves in the process.
