BIOS235 Cellular and Molecular Biology II

Molecular and Cellular Biology II is the second course about the biological basis for life and cells. This course is an introduction to the molecules, structures and cellular mechanisms for cellular reproduction, including genetics and the basis for genomic regulation and change. The implications and ethical aspects of precision medicine, epigenetics, and whole genome sequencing will be discussed from a Native American perspective. Furthermore, Course-based undergraduate research experiences (CURE) are embedded within the course. This course is designed to be of interest for those interested in a career in the biological sciences, in applying to professional schools in the health sciences.
