GEOG203 Cartography and Map Visualization

Cartography—the science and practice of making maps—challenges students to perform effective visual thinking and visual communication with geographic information systems. Class discussions and projects teach concepts and tools used in map design, allowing students to create, evaluate, and critique the display of spatial information.
