HAZM160 Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and Environmental Due Diligence
This course will allow students to confidently conduct office- and field-based environmental due diligence activities, including the performance of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). The class will review standard nationally-accepted methods for conducting initial site assessments at properties with potential environmental contamination. Components of the process include onsite inspections; reviews of historical and regulatory information related to the property; interviews with persons knowledgeable about the history of the site; and preparation of industry-standard Phase I ESA reports.
