GEOL101 Physical Geology

Physical Geology serves as an introduction to geological topics such as formation and makeup of the Earth, plate tectonics, mountain building, rock and mineral identification, earthquakes, and volcanoes, glaciers, hydrology, weathering and erosion, geologic dating techniques, and mineral and fossil fuel resources. Students will gain an expanded appreciation for the rocky planet we live on.
