NSGD 349 Issues in American Indian Health
This course explores current issues in American Indian/Alaska Native health. The course explores the relevant psychosocial, political and physiological determinants of health in American Indian/Alaska Native communities, in urban environments and on reservations. The course includes an exploration of the impact of health disparities on American Indian/Alaska Native health, as well as the influences of history and culture on health beliefs and practices.
