ACSC 109 Interpersonal Communication Skills
The Interpersonal Communication Skills workshop will provide an in-depth look at the communication cycle and the many dynamics of communication. A combination of adventure games, lecture, and classroom activities will be utilized to demonstrate the importance of--and to teach the skills required for--effective communication. Special emphasis will be placed on identifying types of distortion, employing active listening skills, and utilizing effective conflict management strategies.
