Career Information

The Bachelor of Information Technology program prepares students for job positions such as System Administrator or Network Administrator. Key subject areas include: Server Administration, Network Administration, Network Security, Cloud, Scripting, and Project Management.

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the Bachelor of Science degree, students will:

  • Apply theory and concepts pertaining to the planning, design, and management of IT infrastructures and services in enterprise, medium, and small businesses.
  • Effectively communicate IT challenges, needs, and concepts in written and presentation formats for a variety of workplace and industry environments.
  • Research and evaluate current and evolving technologies within IT and IT Infrastructures.
  • Work independently and professionally to manage, organize, and lead IT based projects.
  • Be able to assess and develop Information Technology solutions that support Native American governments and businesses.
